This also includes information that, while not personal, becomes personal information when associated with other information that allows your identification. The definition of personal information may vary from one jurisdiction to another and, as such, it may be protected differently by applicable privacy laws.

This policy applies to all personal information we collect and process during any interaction you may have with us. This includes your visits to our IN-RGY website, as well as your interactions on third-party social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook. It also covers marketing data, your communications with us, your job application submissions, and your sign-ups to receive information about IN-RGY. We also process various types of personal information to provide our services and products to our clients and partners. These clients or partners are also legally obligated to protect your data through strict protective measures. To the extent that IN-RGY discloses personal information to service providers, including but not limited to cloud providers, subcontractors, etc., they will only use this information for the purpose of performing their mandate or contract. IN-RGY will take appropriate measures to ensure that personal information is only used by service providers for specific purposes to deliver services and will not be retained after a reasonable period following the expiry of their mandate or contract, subject to applicable legal requirements.

6. Security of Personal Information 

We comply with applicable legal requirements to protect information submitted to us, both at the time of transmission and once we have received it. We implement appropriate physical, technical, and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, theft, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. We have taken steps to ensure that only members of our staff who need to know or whose functions reasonably require processing of this information have access to your personal information.

As a company operating in multiple jurisdictions, we host your personal information in our data centers as well as in our cloud environments, located in Canada, as long as it is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. 

In the event of a change of ownership, sale, merger, liquidation, reorganization, acquisition of IN-RGY, in whole or in part, or in the event of other business transactions or bankruptcy, your personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
